WE BELIEVE.

United Methodists share a common heritage with all Christians.

To live out the faith, John Wesley and the early Methodists placed primary emphasis on Christian living, and on putting faith and love into action.

This emphasis on what Wesley referred to as "practical divinity" has continued to be a hallmark of United Methodism today. He believed that the Christian faith is revealed through Scripture, brought to life through tradition, nourished through personal experience and confirmed through reasoning.
