MOCHAP YOUTH

iT'S WHERE YOU BELONG

Some words to describe this group:
inviting, unique, accepting, outgoing, friendly, and fun.

We have fun. We love. We care. We learn. We serve. We grow. We go.

We seek to live by "It's where you belong."

Anyone from 6th to 12th grade is welcome to join us at any time!

our purpose, mission and vision

Our PURPOSE: To provide a safe place for young people to come and learn more about God, worship together, and share that love with others.

Our MISSION: To be a community of people who have fun, and who learn what it means to be a follower of Jesus Christ through missions, fellowship, and loving one another.

Our VISION: To create and sustain a CPRWG (close, personal relationship with God), which will guide our lives. To grow the family of God by being disciples who share and spread God's love and become more Christ-like.

    OUT OF THE GARDEN sponsorship

MoChap Youth began sponsoring the Out of the Garden Project in October 2019.

Money raised from our Snack Station and donated from the youth themselves goes towards our $30 monthly donation.

The Youth will also volunteer with Out of the Garden twice a year through one of their many programs – Operation Backpack, Fresh Mobile Markets, Urban Teaching Farm, or the Food Reclamation Initiative.

This organization was chosen by MoChap’s Youth Leadership Team because of the inspiration they have received from seeing their church family at Morris Chapel working hard to feed the Walkertown Community.
